Year 2, Day 1!

Hello. We hope you are doing well on your first day of class! Please remember we will attempt to use this site to do almost all of our communication, including announcements, etc. Along those lines, please check the Daily Agenda for today (June 28th) as something has been added (a survey you are asked to complete conducted by a MSU faculty member and graduate student).
Further, please remember to submit your lab as a comment on the lab page (the username/password for the site is on the whiteboard). Thank you.
Hello and Welcome!

Welcome (in advance) to Year 2 of the MAET program in Rouen! I am Emily Bouck and I am one of your instructors. Brandon Blinkenberg is the other. For those of you who were in Plymouth last year, you may remember us from Year 2. We are excited to be with you during Year 2 and looking forward to the end of June.
We know you are probably all very busy with the school year winding down and/or finishing things before heading to Rouen, but we wanted to take the opportunity to welcome you to Year 2 and to send along a draft version of the syllabus (NOTE: Near finished… Readings are set, major projects set) . We also wanted to let you know that you are free to contact us with any questions prior to arriving in Rouen.
The syllabus is a draft version – we will be making minor tweaks to it prior to arriving in Rouen and will definitely send you an updated version. We realize that you may want to either print or download the readings in advance as well as get a general idea of the course activities. We want to let you know that this is the plan, but we will also be flexible with things that arise on site.
Again, if you have any question please feel free to contact either myself (Emily – bouck [at] purdue.edu) or Brandon (bran [at] msu.edu). We look forward to getting to know you and spending 4 great weeks together! Look for additional emails to follow between now and arrival in Rouen.
